Here's a look at Danny Bonaduce's training regimine.

You couldn't tell if it was working after he whooped ass on Rev. Bob Levy, but he just finished going toe-to-toe and staying on his feet with the vastly larger (and probably every-bit-as-crazy) Jose Canseco, so he must be doing something right!

In the run-up to Illinois Gov. Blagojevich's announcements today, Captain Plastic (aka Shepard Smith) from FOX News asserted repeatedly that the sun orbits the earth. "You see, the sun orbits the earth every 24 hours, because of that there are 60 seconds in a minute. I'm not sure how often whatever star orbits Planet Blago does so, but it's obviously at a different rate."
Dude was commenting on Blago's tardiness for his latest (self-scheduled) media prank and I was willing to let him off t...
IF a Led Zeppelin reunion tour of North America were to happen, what is your go/no-go price point? Bruce and I talked about this once during summer 2008, and I seem to recall we both had $300 in mind.
Now, understand please that this conversation was imagining a Plant/Page/Jones/Bonham Led Zeppelin (ie, the closest thing that could occur to an actual reunion), not some hybrid bastard quasi-Zep. My prices fall off pretty sharply for anything else.
Page/Plant and two other du...
So you hijack a supertanker (Sirius Star) 450 miles offshore east Africa in a motorboat and actually succeed. It seems the problem quickly becomes: what the hell do you do with the thing? You probably don't have a place to put 2 million bbl of crude. Or dock a ship more than 1,000 ft long. But you have to monetize your actions somehow, or it turns into just an oversized prank.
You start off by demanding $25 million for the ship, cargo, and crew. Weeks turn into months, and your demand...
The fine folks over the Center for Public Integrity have put together a fun little way to revisit the disaster that has been the US executive branch for the past 8 years: you can rank W. and gang's biggest mistakes from a list of more than 100!
I admire the work it must have taken to narrow the list down even that far, and whether your personal favorites lie in the realms of failed intelligence, intentional deceit, the oppression of science, erosion of our rights, or any number of other ca...
By mid-December 2008 the year's tally for pirate attacks off the coast of Somalia alone totalled 109, with 42 ships successfully hijacked, and 14 vessels (with 268 crew) still being held hostage. Included among these were a Saudi supertanker (Sirius Star) and a ship carrying ex-Soviet tanks (Faina).
The International Chamber of Commerce's International Maritime Bureau monitors piracy globally, with a multi-national naval fleet stationed off Africa's east coas...
Pitchforkmedia reports that Myles Kennedy—Scott Stapp's replacement in Creed, begatting Alter Bridge—has been rehearsing with Page, Jones, and Bonham and could be a possible stand-in for Robert Plant on any future Led Zeppelin tour.
The whole idea is ridiculous and Page/Jones should be roundly beaten for even contemplating taking something out on the road without Plant and calling it Zeppelin. Coverdale/Page worked fine. So did Page/Plant. I'd suggest...
I don't remember listening to 10 albums that came out in 2008, so that either disqualifies me from contributing this sort of list or gives me license to submit the following...

Well maybe not. Interviewed Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 16, 2008, on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show (Sirius satellite radio, Howard 101), Terry "Hulk" Hogan said that he had not been contacted by anyone regarding such a match.
Still, that's a far cry from saying, "No. Nothing like that is going to happen," or some other actual door-closing comment.
Maybe Mr. McMahon can scrape together enough cabbage.
Kuwaiti Company Makes Huge Gas Find in Texas
So let me get this straight; letting China (CNOOC) buy Unocal was somehow an afront to both our security and our sensibilities as Americans, but it's OK to lease onshore drilling rights in the US to companies from Kuwait?? How does that benefit us in this time of dire need?
It probably doesn't, but given Halliburton's involvement and the Bush family's Saudi and Kuwaiti ties, it's not hard to imagine who it does benefit.
