FIA WEC: 6 Hours of Spa – Audi, Porsche finish 1-2; Ferrari tops in GT

Audi, Porsche, Toyota. All three had highs and lows in the season-opening round at Silverstone. NHRA: SpringNationals - Courtney Force, Kalitta, Anderson all win

Brittany Force (Top Fuel) and Tim Wilkerson (Funny Car) came into Houston as the only multi-event winners of 2016, Force also the season-points leader in class. IMSA: Laguna Seca – New Ford GT takes first win; Honda-Ligier overall victor

NHRA: Four-Wide Nationals – Brittany Force wins again; Wilkerson and Line too
