FIA WEC: Extreme Speed to make series debut at Circuit of the Americas

Extreme Speed Motorsports (ESM) will be making its FIA World Endurance Championship debut at Circuit of the Americas this weekend. The team last week participated in a one-day test at the track in advance of the Lone Star Le Mans, Sept. 19-20, having announced in August it would be competing in the Six Hours of Circuit of the Americas. FIA WEC: G-Drive racing to introduce new Ligier chassis at COTA

After a 3-month pause in the FIA World Endurance Championship, G-Drive Racing comes to Austin, Tex., with new wheels underneath them. Roman Rusinov, Olivier Pla, and Julien Canal won the first two races of the season in their Morgan-Nissan LM P2. FIA WEC: Porsche LMP1 preparing for second part of season

To prepare for the second part of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) the Porsche Team last week tested the Le Mans Prototype Porsche 919 Hybrid for three days at the Eurospeedway Lausitz near Dresden, Germany. Porsche works drivers Neel Jani (Switzerland), Romain Dumas (France), and Mark Webber (Australia) logged 2,031 total km during the test. FIA WEC: Conway to pilot #7 Toyota at Circuit of the Americas

Toyota Racing test and reserve driver Mike Conway will make his race debut for the team in the fourth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, in Austin on Sept. 20. ALMS: Circuit of the Americas - Briscoe, Tucker P2 winners press conference

ALMS: Circuit of the Americas - Garcia, Magnussen GT winners press conference

Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen’s win over Jonathan Bomarito (Viper) and Dirk Muller (BMW) at Circuit of the Americas propelled the duo into the ALMS GT championship season points lead over both Muller and Corvette Racing teammates Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner.
