F1: Spain – Red Bull’s Verstappen youngest-ever winner at 18

Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) came into the race on a 7-contest winning streak and carrying a 43-point lead on teammate Lewis Hamilton. Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari) was third in the point standings (-57) followed by Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull). The starting grid at Circuit de Catalunya had Hamilton on pole, followed by Rosberg, Ricciardo, and Max Verstappen: newly elevated to the team in a swap that saw Daniil Kvyat relegated to Toro Rosso. Hamilton and Rosberg took each other out as Hamilton tried to re...

F1: China – Six in a row for Rosberg

Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) won pole ahead of Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) and the Ferraris of Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel. Rosberg’s teammate started last on the grid following power unit replacement. Daniil Kvyat (Red Bull) passed inside Vettel through the first series of turns, the German colliding with Raikkonen in avoidance. Kyvat took third. Ricciardo snatched the lead at the start, but Rosberg passed him early in Lap 3 with the Aussie suffering a blown left-rear in the process a...

Max Verstappen (Toro Rosso) started fifth and Felipe Massa (Williams) sixth. A second formation lap ran after Daniil Kvyat (Red Bull) brought his car to a stop just short of the starting grid. F1: Abu Dhabi – Rosberg wins third straight to close 2015

Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) won the Brazilian Grand Prix two weeks ago. He started on pole and led the entire race; the same for teammate Lewis Hamilton in second, and more or less the entire top part of the grid. Interlagos might be a fun circuit to drive, and a beautiful one to watch cars turn laps on, but riveting competition is not its forte. I love this form of this sport, but Brazil scored one for the haters. Rosberg and Hamilton topped qualifying again at Yas Marina. Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari)...

Nico Rosberg beat Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton to pole position. Mercedes came into the race needing to score 3 more points than Ferrari to clinch the constructor’s championship. Williams’ Valtteri Bottas qualified third. Most drivers were expected to stop just once on the low-abrasion Sochi circuit. Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) started P4. Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari) took third from Bottas through the first few corners. A safety car came out following a spin and collisions at the ba...

F1: Hungary – Vettel wins, Red Bull 2-3 #JB17

All the front runners began the race on soft tires. Mercedes (Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg) locked down Row 1 again, followed by Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) and Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull). Felipe Massa (Williams) lined up out of place on the grid and aborted the first start, forcing another formation lap to avoid overheating and dropping the race distance from 70 laps to 69. Hamilton dropped to P4 at the start, jumped by both his teammate and the two Ferraris (Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen). The Fe...
