WEC: 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas preview

With the FIA World Endurance Championship’s fourth annual 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas now just 5 days away (Sept. 17) as part of Lone Star Le Mans weekend at COTA it seemed like a good time to dust off the tops of the season points standings in the various classes and provide a few notes regarding the season so far. WEC: 6 Hours of Mexico City – Porsche wins, home RGR team takes LMP2

The fifth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship in Mexico saw a 6 hr race with two periods of rain that force teams to adjust their strategy to cope with the changing conditions. IMSA: VIR – Corvette Racing, Paul Miller Lambo take wins

The series’ stop at Virginia International Raceway featured only the two GT classes. FIA WEC: 6 Hours of Spa – Audi, Porsche finish 1-2; Ferrari tops in GT
