IndyCar: Honda, Chevy ready for chassis aero-based competition in 2015

Beginning with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on Mar. 29, IndyCar will introduce chassis competition based on aerodynamic bodywork designed, manufactured, and supplied by Chevrolet and Honda. USCC: Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona – #02 Ganassi, Corvette Racing win

The #62 Ferrari retired from the lead with engine issues in the middle of the night, moving the Corvette’s back to the front, #4 leading #3. IndyCar: Fontana – Power takes first championship, Kanaan wins the race

Photo: John Cote   The championship came down to the final race for the ninth consecutive season, with 3 drivers – Will Power, Helio Castroneves (both Team Penske, Chevrolet), and Simon Pagenaud (Schmidt Peterson Hamilton Racing, Honda)  – still in contention.
