USCC: 24 Hours of Daytona - Action Express wins; Porsche, Ferrari take GT classes

By 9 hr 20 min into the 52nd Rolex 24 at Daytona Jordan Taylor and the #10 had slipped to P6, with Alessandro Balzan leading GTD in the #63 Ferrari. BMW, Porsche dominate Rolex 24 qualifying

Scott Pruett won pole position for this weekend’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, demonstrating the speed required if he’s to win a record-tying fifth overall victory in the race.  Pruett, in the No. 01 TELMEX/Target Chip Ganassi Racing BMW/Riley, earned the pole with a lap of 1:40.553 (127.455 mph).
