Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) beat teammate Lewis Hamilton, who started P2, for pole for the first time this season. It was Hamilton’s 13th consecutive front-row start. 67% of F1 Grand Prix at Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya have been won from pole, 92% from the front row.
