WEC: 6 Hours of Bahrain – Audi 1-2 in swansong

F1: Bahrain – Rosberg takes fifth straight, Vandoorne scores in debut

Lewis Hamilton won pole, with Australia winner Nico Rosberg lining up second, the eighth-straight Mercedes front row lockout. Ferrari followed in Row 2, Sebastian Vettel ahead of Kimi Raikkonen, with Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) besting Valtteri Bottas (Williams) on Row 3. Romain Grosjean started P9 for Haas. FIA WEC: 6 Hours of Bahrain – Porsche wins race, championship

Audi won the first two races of the season, with Porsche winning at Le Mans and every race since to clinch the manufacturers championship. Ferrari managed to close the qualifying gap on Mercedes, Sebastian Vettel starting on the outside of Row 1 next to Lewis Hamilton, who claimed his fourth-straight pole to start the 2015 season. FIA WEC: 6 Hours of Bahrain – Buemi, Davidson, Bruni, Vilander, ‘Dane Train’ champions

The #14 Porsche 919 Hybrid took pole, driven by Neel Jani and Romain Dumas to a four-lap average of 1 min 43.145 sec. FIA WEC: Porsche LMP1 preparing for second part of season

To prepare for the second part of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) the Porsche Team last week tested the Le Mans Prototype Porsche 919 Hybrid for three days at the Eurospeedway Lausitz near Dresden, Germany. Porsche works drivers Neel Jani (Switzerland), Romain Dumas (France), and Mark Webber (Australia) logged 2,031 total km during the test. F1: Bahrain – Hamilton takes second straight, Force India finishes third

Mercedes once again dominated qualifying, with Nico Rosberg taking the pole this time over Lewis Hamilton, his second straight Bahrain pole. FIA WEC: 6 Hours of Bahrain – Toyota wins, OAK Racing takes LMP2 title
