FIA WEC: 6 Hours of Spa – Toyota, Ferrari take 1-2s; G-Drive, Aston Martin also win

Toyota Gazoo Racing TS050 Hybrids finished 1-2 at the 6 Hours of Spa, Sebastien Buemi (#8) outrunning Kamui Kobayashi (#7) to the checkered flag by just 1.992 sec. FIA WEC: 6 Hours of Bahrain – Porsche wins race, championship

Audi won the first two races of the season, with Porsche winning at Le Mans and every race since to clinch the manufacturers championship. FIA WEC: 6 Hours of Fuji – #17 Porsche wins; Webber, Hartley, Bernhard take points lead

The race started behind the safety car in heavy rain, the green flag flying after 21 min. Porsche Team 919 Hybrid’s locked down the front row again, the #17 ahead of the #18. FIA WEC: 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas – Porsche wins, Audi 2-3

Porsche came into this event with momentum in both LMP1 and GT Pro classes. Porsche’s LMP1 team claimed a 1-2 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and its top finishing full-time car in that race, the #17, went on to win the following (and most recent) race at Nurburgring.
