IMSA: Lime Rock – Starworks, Corvette, Magnus Audi winners

ALMS: Circuit of the Americas - Garcia, Magnussen GT winners press conference

Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen’s win over Jonathan Bomarito (Viper) and Dirk Muller (BMW) at Circuit of the Americas propelled the duo into the ALMS GT championship season points lead over both Muller and Corvette Racing teammates Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner. Garcia led the final 58 minutes of the race despite nearly continuous pressure from first Muller and then Bomarito. Le Mans Drivers Hall of Fame: Richard Thompson

As part of the festivities surrounding the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Circuit of the America’s , Pierre Fillon, President of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, inducted Richard Thompson into the Le Mans drivers Hall of Fame. ALMS GT qualifying – Circuit of the Americas

Joey Hand (BMW) won the poll in GT qualifying for the American Le Mans Series race at Circuit of the Americas, with the Corvettes of Antonio Garica and Oliver Gavin finishing P2 and P3. John Edwards took the fourth spot on the grid with Patrick Long and Jonathon Bomarito make up Row 3. Rain fell throughout the session, all of the quickest times set in the first four laps out of seven.
