IMSA: Circuit of the Americas – Wayne Taylor Racing wins, Porsche 1-2 in GTLM

The Porsches jumped from the second GT row to P2 and P3 at the start, the #62 Ferrari remaining in the lead and Ryan Briscoe falling to fourth in the #67 Ford GT. IMSA: VIR – Corvette Racing, Paul Miller Lambo take wins

The series’ stop at Virginia International Raceway featured only the two GT classes. IMSA: 24 Hours of Daytona: Tandy fastest overall, Aleshin takes Prototype pole

Russian IndyCar driver Mikhail Aleshin overcame extremely wet conditions to capture the Prototype class pole for the 54th Rolex 24 At Daytona. WEC: 6 Hours of COTA (Practice 3) – Porsche, Alpine, Aston Martin fastest

    The #17 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid (Timo Bernhard, Mark Webber, Brendon Hartley) was fastest in Free Practice 2, Thursday evening at 1 min 47.442 sec. FIA WEC: 6 Hours of COTA – Rain delays Practice 2, Toyota turns fastest lap

The heavy weather that had been in the area all day finally hit right as the second practice session for the FIA World Endurance Championship’s 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas was about to begin. The start of the session was delayed from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, with the course red flagged about 15 min in.
