WEC: 6 Hours of Silverstone – Audi crosses line first, excluded; appeals

Audi Sport Team Joest R18s held down Row 1 on the starting grid, Andre Lotterer (#7) on pole with Oliver Jarvis (#8) next to him. Explosion, fire in Williams garage following Spanish Grand Prix

Potential tragedy emerged in the wake of Pastor Maldonado’s (Williams) first Formula 1 victory at the Spanish Grand Prix, with news of an explosion and fire at the Williams garage.
