IMSA: Belle Isle – Taylors start P12 finish P1, fifth straight win

IMSA: VIR – Corvette Racing, Paul Miller Lambo take wins

The series’ stop at Virginia International Raceway featured only the two GT classes. In six GT Le Mans races so far this year points leaders Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner (#4 Corvette Racing C.7R) had four wins and six podiums and Ryan Briscoe and Richard Westrbrook (#67 Ford Chip Ganassi Racing GT) three wins and five podiums. IMSA: Lime Rock – Starworks, Corvette, Magnus Audi winners

As part of the festivities surrounding the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Circuit of the America’s , Pierre Fillon, President of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, inducted Richard Thompson into the Le Mans drivers Hall of Fame. GRAND-AM: Rolex Series - Barbosa tops Mid-Ohio, Auberlen takes GT
