Ashbury Keys + three33 - LIVE! - Fitzgerald's, Houston

Power pop. Pop rock. Whatever you call it, you know you love it. The Jibbies & Loond Show - Episode 037 - Metal cures the summertime blues

Summertime, and the living is sweaty. Might as well rock out. Bitching is for losers. With this spirit in mind, our duo start off by sharing some of the new things tickling their ears right now: The Guns, Nightstalker, Moonless, and Dawn of Disease. Pull up a seat. It’s heavy.

Southern Lord Records 2012 Tour Review

My hat goes off to Southern Lord Records for putting together an amazing package tour with Enabler, Burning Love, Martyrdod, and Black Breath. The label itself has carved a very cool niche for themselves in terms of the bands on their roster and the style of heavy music that they deal in. And on Friday 6/29/12 the aforementioned bands graced the new Walter’s location in Houston with wave upon wave of crushing, caustic, bleak, and claustrophobic musical tonnage. On a surface level listen,...
