Your intrepid duo do their best to sift through the Bill Ward/Sharon Osbourne bullshit (Ward wins), before eventually finding a nice palate cleanser in welcoming Jesse Leach back to Killswitch Engage. Then, as J&L are going through some of their favorite recent and upcoming releases--including Dwellers’ ‘Good Morning Harakiri,’ out on Small Stone, and recent SS-signees Supermachine’s ‘Harder Than Soft’ EP--the showdown erupts: in one corner, Loond and Goatwhore, in the other Jibbies and Faster Pussycat. *Ding ding!* Seems like a mismatch, right? The battle eventually winds down and the duo use whatever energy is left discussing some of the US summer metal tours other than Mayhem and marveling at the glory of Hellfest 2012.
