Friday LinkFrogging - 3/29/13

Welcome to the geek convergence.

Hold on.

Back that up.

Before you reread that first sentence, get the opening of Styx's "Grand Illusion" in your head.  Don't have it? Let me help.

Now, read it again.

Better, eh?

Its a big, big weekend in the Geek-o-Verse.

Wonderson is going down in Cali.

Doctor Who returns on BBC Saturday night.

And, of course, the big throwdown takes place on Sunday night as the season finale of The Walking Dead goes head-to-head with the season premiere of Game of Thrones.

That's high end ratings bloodsport right there kids.

Thank goodness for DVRs.

I finished reading  A Dance with Dragons earlier this week so I'm caught up on all things Westeros and ready to roll.  I'm still three episodes behind on The Walking Dead but I'll be caught up and ready on Sunday.

All of these things gave me options I haven't had in a while.  I had cheesecake choices from The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones AND Doctor Who.

In the end, I decided to take the time honored geek road.  I tossed out the obvious and went another way.

Please say hello to Adrianne Palicki.

Ms. Palicki is starring in today's long delayed GI Joe:  Retaliation as Lady Jaye.

Nice...dog tags.

In addition to her work as a human action figure, Ms. Palicki has also appeared in other geek approved fare as Smallville, Supernatural, Friday Night Lights, Red Dawn and the stillborn NBC Wonder Woman pilot.

Let's hit the links.
