We've gotten almost 2 feet of snow in the past week, and for the first time since college, I've experienced a 'snow day'.
Scratch that, I got two.
Between the Battlestar Galactica mini-marathons I've been running to kill the hours between driveway shoveling, I went to the workbench and wrapped up a couple of outstanding projects.
Meet one of our site's unofficial mascots.
I started around Thanksgiving with a DIY ghost I picked up on clearance from Target. My first thought was 'I can do a pretty cool ghost with this'. My second thought was 'No....LUCHA!'
I think I made the right choice.
For the record, I do these little projects just to see if I can do them. I learned a little more about using an airbrush and the importance of a quality primer when all the paint peeled off the arms.
I would have liked it better if it didn't look like Gonz was wearing a kilt, but remember I did start with a ghost. To be true to the kilted experience, I painted his legs bare so it looks like he ain't wearing underwear.
Gotta stay in character.
PS: The other unofficial mascot for the site it also our most popular (and regular) feature: The Linkfrog.
