Friday LinkFrogging - 11/4/11
Well, I hope everyone is still candy-besotted from Halloween.  We're going to need all that sugar to get us through the rest of the year.

That's right, this week starts that annual sprint through the holidays.

Our first stop is Thanksgiving at Tryptophan Station.  Then a slog through Black Friday and right on through Christmas before breaking the finish line on New Year's Day.

I'm exhausted just typing that.

While its fun to celebrate the holidays with family, it is this time of year that always proves the brilliance of that old adage...you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family.

Truth be told, we've all got members of our families that we'd be just fine with seeing just at weddings and funerals.  If you're lucky, they're extended enough that that's just what happens.

Of course, if you're not lucky, you usually end up pouring Aunt Myrtle into the back seat of the Buick Riviera after her "one" glass of Christmas wine.

It could always be worse?  You could find yourself married to an ardent admirer of the pornographic arts like this week's cheesecake.

Please say hello to Tea Leoni.

Ms. Leoni first burst into the geek consciousnees with her turn as the unorthodox Alicia in the tragically short-lived Fox sitcom, Flying Blind.  Flying Blind was about two years ahead of its time and is still not available on DVD.

Since then, Ms. Leoni has had roles in Deep Impact, Flirting with Disaster, Bad Boys, Jurassic Park III and, ironically, The Family Man.  She was also the star of her own sitcom vehicle, The Naked Truth.

In her spare time, she is an ambassador for UNICEF.

Earlier this year she split from the aforementioned husband aka David "Californication" Duchovny.

This week she appears with Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy and Alan Alda in Tower Heist.

On to the links.
