I spent a great deal of last week's entry talking about how the universe had spoken to me.
I'm pleased to announce that I've gone the whole week without a soda of any kind.
Apparently the universe wasn't done with me.
Earlier in the week, I was doing some preliminary research for this week's feature. As I do, I checked IMDB to see what was coming out and who had a birthday. It's one of the things I do to insure only the finest delicacies for this feature.
I noticed that Diane Lane had a birthday coming up this week. Ms. Lane has previously been featured HERE
and, quite honestly, is a long time personal favorite.
I clicked on her bio and discovered something that, as it turns out, I think the universe wanted me to see.
Ms Lane's bio mentioned that her mother was a singer/pinup. I Googled her name and, sweet Manny on a moped, that's a quality gene pool kids.
When the universe sends you a message like that, you don't question. You just do as you are told.
So, with that being said, please say hello to this week's cheesecake, Colleen Farrington.
In addition to being the mother of Diane Lane, Ms. Farrington was a fashion model and nightclub singer.
Her biggest claim to fame, however, was her turn as Playboy Playmate of the month in October 1957.
Look it up for yourself kids. You can thank me later.
So, now we can add mother and daughter to the list of LinkFrogging achievements.
It's like one of those letters.
You know the ones.
Let's hit the links.
