Review - Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
"Welcome to Jurassic Park!"

Ever since those words were spoken in by John Hammond in 1993, the Jurassic franchise has delivered a unique world of speculative sci-fi to movie viewers.

The latest release in the franchise, Jurassic World:  Fallen Kingdom, returns us Isla Nubar one more time as, once again, evil forces are trying to use the dinosaurs in ways their creators never intended.

Back again to help bring order to the chaos are Chris Pratt's Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire. They are joined by a new team of dino-experts and tech wizards on their quest to save the dinosaurs from an active volcano.

It's a lot to take in as the Jurassic franchise moves into its next logical phase.  You can only hope to keep those dinosaurs on the island for so long.  Once the box is open, well, Pandora, you can't shut it again.

I really enjoyed this movie.  It moved the Jurassic World franchise forward and opened up some exciting new possibilities.  Pratt and Howard prove to be an quality on-screen pairing.  And who doesn't love Jeff Goldblum's Ian Malcolm?

But, of course, the dinosaurs are always the stars of the show.  Old favorites and new threats alike abound in Fallen Kingdom.

Jurassic World:  Fallen Kingdom clears the deck of the past and sets the stage for a brave new world for the franchise moving forward.

I, for one, can't wait to see where they go from here.

Of course, no release in this franchise would be complete without a pack of extras.  Here's what you get from Jurassic World:  Fallen Kingdom:
