Friday LinkFrogging - 6/22/18
We live in strange time kids.

Of course, that's not really telling you anything you don't know.

Every day brings new stories about man's inhumanity to man.  They've been coming so fast and furious that I'm afraid we're becoming numb to them.

And that's how they will ultimately get us.

Comfortable numbness.

With all of the things going on in the world, one of this week's kerfuffle's just didn't seem to matter to me.

I try to be understanding.  I try to let people be people.

But sometimes, the fights that we pick are just stupid.

This week a story broke that there was a scene deleted from Jurassic World:  Fallen Kingdom that had a character coming out as gay.

While I understand this might have been a big moment for the character, I think her sexual orientation might need to take a backseat to an invading dinosaur army.

Call me old fashioned that way.

Still, if you've read this feature for any amount of time, you know I'm not opposed to piggybacking for some extra views.

Please say hello to Daniella Pineda.

Ms. Pineda's character, Zia Rodriguez, is the one denied her moment in Fallen Kingdom.

You may have also seen Ms. Pineda during her CW tenure on The Vampire Diaries and The Originals.

She was also in Sleeping with Other People, The Detour and American Odyssey.

I'm sure we'll be seeing more of her in the years to come.

 Let's hit the links.
