Friday LinkFrogging - 5/11/18
Something strange is afoot, again, at the Circle K.

Yes, the news this week is that, at long last, they are going to make a third Bill & Ted movie.  That's right, the Wyld Stallyns are going to be a trilogy.

I'm not sure how I feel about that.  The Bogus Journey was...Bogus.

It seems a lot like Keanu Reeves is throwing Alex Winter a bone, but that's what dudes do.  They take are of their friends.

In other news, I came as close as I ever will to binging a Netflix show.  I managed to get through Altered Carbon in about a week.

It's been about 15 years since I read the book, so I don't honestly remember it well enough to have any complaints about the adaptation.  In fact, I thought they captured the dystopian future of Morgan's novel really well.

Altered Carbon also provides us with this week's cheesecake.

Please say hello to Martha Higareda.

Ms. Higareda stars as Kristin Ortega, the conflicted cop at the center of the mystery in Altered Carbon.

Prior to walking a beat in Bay City, Ms. Higareda was a darling of Mexican television.  She also appeared on Royal Pains, Street Kings and the ill-conceived Smokin' Aces sequel.

She's another in our long line of buy earlies.

You can thank me later.

Let's hit the links.
