Friday LinkFrogging - 8/26/16
Summer is pretty much over kids.

Next weekend is Labor Day so we are about to make the turn into fall.

You know how else I know summer's over?  The major avenues of pop culture are bleak.

Case in point?

Today's big movie opening is a sequel to a remake of a Charles Bronson movie.

Let me say that again.

Today's big movie opening is a sequel to a remake of a Charles Bronson movie.

Jason Statham returns as the 21st century Bronson.  From what I've read the movie's plot borrows heavily from Statham's earlier film, Killer Elite.

Let's revise our previous statement.

Today's big movie opening is a sequel to a remake of a Charles Bronson film that cribs its plot from another movie by the movie's star.

Somebody check Hollywood for a pulse.

The good news?  The arrival of Mechanic:  Resurrection allows us to deliver up some quality cheesecake.

Please say hello to Jessica Alba.

This isn't Ms. Alba's first time doing the honors.  In fact, she was our hostess almost six years ago.

Since then she's joined the ranks of MILFdom, started a successful business and starred in a series of movies I've never heard of.

Good idea using a Statham vehicle to see if we've forgiven you for the Fantastic Four movies.

Let's hit the links.
