Friday LinkFrogging - 7/29/16
The carnival has finally left town.

Or towns.

The conventions are over.

Carnival gone. Here comes the circus.

Perhaps the only thing that can wash away the pervasive stink coming off this election year is some good old summer movie escapism.

Of course, as has become the case with 2016, this year's summer movies has been lacking.

Very lacking.

How to fix that?

How about resurrect a franchise that has been dormant for a decade?

Yes, we're looking at you Jason Bourne.

This weekend marks the return of Matt Damon to the role that made him a household name.

I was pretty sure that Bourne's story had been wrapped up, but, well money talks.

And, if Bourne is back so too must be this week's cheesecake.

Please say hello to Julia Stiles.

Ms. Stiles returns to the Bourne-verse as analyst Nicky Parsons. According to a synopsis I read, Ms. Parsons has gone all Assange.

Topicality.

Listen close kids. The calliope is tuning up all around us.

Let's hit the links.
