Well, 2015 is almost over kids.
These are our penultimate links for the year. We'll be live again next week, take Christmas off and then be back on January 1 with our yearly "Best of" which will include the crowning of a new "Cheesecake of the Year."
Heady times these.
But let's not look past this week. There is still goodness to be had here.
Earlier this week, I finished Marvel/Netflix's second stream into the MCU, Jessica Jones. While I didn't like it as much as I did Daredevil, that may have something to do more with character affinity than the actual production itself.
I've read Alias, but I'm just not invested in Jessica Jones...the character.
Now, Hellcat is another story.
What's that you say?
There was no character named Hellcat in Jessica Jones?
Yes there was dear reader(s). Only, like so many good things in the MCU, they Easter Egged it.
Who was this mysterious Hellcat of which I speak? Well, she was/is/will be none other than Jessica's adopted sister Trish Walker.
How is she Hellcat. Here let Wikipedia do the heavy lifting on that one.
Anyway...Trish was played by this week's cheesecake. Please say hello to Rachael Taylor.
Prior to her work on Jessica Jones, Ms. Taylor had previously worked as a model and appeared in such other Geek fare as Transformers, 666 Park Avenue, Charlie's Angels and Crisis.
Hell, she was even on Grey's Anatomy.
This wasn't even her first foray into Marvel-land.
She also appeared in the ill-fated, straight to SyFy Man-Thing movie. Y'all remember when I talked about that don't you?
Anyway, Ms. Taylor sure would look good in the blue and yellow.
Let's hit the links.
