Its that time of year again.
That time when the rest of the world does we here at the Geek do each week and celebrates the female of the species.
Everybody has one.
Some of us are married to one.
We wouldn't be here without them.
So, to celebrate the moms out there, in our own GonzoGeek way, please say hello to Reese Witherspoon.
Ms. Witherspoon has been a mom almost as long as she's been famous. She's been a mom long enough to have a teenaged daughter to go along with her Oscar.
This week she's appearing opposite Sofia Vergara in the new movie Hot Pursuit.
I thought about featuring Ms. Vergara again this week, but decided that, given her current parental issues, I'd wait.
In addition to being, well, a MILF, Ms. Witherspoon won that Oscar for her portrayal of June Carter Cash in Walk the Line.
She's also responsible for the Legally Blonde franchise, Sweet Home Alabama and a host of other rom-coms I'm not looking up.
She's also turned into a big time producer whose credits include Wild and Gone Girl.
And she was brilliant in Election.
That doesn't undo Four Christmases, but its a start.
Call your mom.
She misses you.
