The binge is over kids.
That's right, I finished Daredevil this week.
Now, I didn't have the time or temperament to sit down and watch it all the way through. I took it in an episode or two at a time, digested those and went back for more.
Daredevil had the unenviable task of laying the groundwork for both the MCU Netflix universe, but also the street level part of the MCU.
It's not all iron suits and mystical hammers. Some heroes toil away keeping the folks in the streets safe from their fellow man.
Daredevil wasn't perfect, but it did all of the things it needed to do excellently.
So, let's celebrate the end of the binge with a piece of cheesecake, shall we?
Please say hello to Deborah Ann Woll.
Ms. Woll strode the streets of Hell's Kitchen as Karen Page: client, secretary, muckraker and paramour.
Of course, we could add a few more items to that list, but that would be telling.
Prior to her time in Marvel's Hell's Kitchen, Ms. Woll spent a goodly amount of time in the Louisiana-ish bayous of True Blood.
She's also appeared in Axe Cop, Life and My Name is Earl.
She's finishing up a movie called Forever and then she's be back for the second season of Daredevil.
Let's hit the links.
