Friday LinkFrogging - 1/23/15

I am, dear reader(s), with all apologies to Douglas Adams, in the long dark teatime of the soul.

The last few months have been a trying time for me on a personal level with the latest blow being the unexpected death of a beloved uncle last week.

Thanks to Chris for filling in for me while I travelled to pay my final respects.

This is not meant to be a downer, just a momentary reflection.

During all the personal darkness, I've taken and continue to take great pride in bringing you your weekly dose of links and cheesecake.

It's my silver lining.

This week is no different, I just find I don't have much to say.

So, let's just cut to the chase and say hello to Hayley Atwell.

Ms. Atwell first came to my attention when she played Peggy Carter in the MCU's first Captain America movie.

She's currently revisiting that character in ABC's Agent Carter limited series.

She'll play Peggy again in the upcoming Avengers:  Age of Ultron.

That's the first, but certainly not last time we'll be mentioning that movie in the weeks to come.

She's also slated to appear as Cinderella's mother in the upcoming live action rendering of the classic animated tale.  She'll be appearing with an elf queen, a Downton resident and the King of the North in that one.

Let's hit the links.
