Its a big weekend in Geekdom.
Tomorrow night the 12th Doctor arrives fully formed to steer the TARDIS into new and exciting adventures.
Or at least that's the hope.
Of course, before we get to the Doctor we have to take a detour through Sin City.
Ah, Sin City, Frank Miller's brutal homage to all things noir.
The crooks are crookeder.
The dames more damier.
The bastards more yellow.
And everybody knows your name.
That's not right.
Miller's incredibly popular series of graphic novels was first adapted for the screen by Robert Rodriguez in 2005. Now, nine years later we get the sequel we were kinda looking for.
In those nine years, several cast members have died. Many of them were replaced for this week's followup, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
In that same time, we have managed to feature nearly every dame on the credits list of both movies.
Notice I said most.
Please say hello to Jamie Chung.
Ms. Chung replaces a pregnant Devon Aoki as Miho, arrow shooting badass chick.
She look familiar doesn't she?
That's probably because she's been bumping around the Geekosphere for a while, appearing in such notably works as Once Upon a Time, The Hangovers II AND III, Sucker Punch and The Man with the Iron Fists.
In the very near future she will be voicing Go Go Tomago in Marvel's animated Big Hero 6.
Don't feel bad for Devon Aoki kids.
Given her upcoming role on Arrow, I'm sure we'll be seeing her very soon.
Let's hit the links.
