Melancholy is the word of the day kids.
Its a long story that I don't care to rehash again, but suffice it to say that this week, life has treated me like a character in a country song.
Maybe something like this...
But you didn't come here to drown my sorrows, so let's move on.
There is a list of lovely ladies who, for whatever reason, have never been featured as cheesecake in this feature.
Today we scratch a name from that awful list.
Please say hello to Kate Hudson.
Ms. Hudson, the daughter of Goldie Hawn, burst form fully formed kinda like Athena as everyone's favorite groupie, I mean Band-Aid, in Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous.
She seemed destined for greatness until she got stuck in the same Hollywood rom-com vortex that nearly claimed the career of Matthew McConaughey. Sure, the checks were good, but the movies were awful.
Between movies she found the time to procreate with members of both the Black Crowes and Muse which makes you wonder how much of her Almost Famous performance was truly acting.
This week, Ms. Hudson is back in Zach Braff's (possibly) new indie flick, Wish I Was Here.
Who knows, maybe a polishing up her indie darling cred will put her back on the right path.
If not, I'm sure there's another Bride Wars 2.
Let's hit the links.
