Defending champions Tom Kristensen and Loic Duval posted a time of 1:42.779 in #1 Audi e-tron quattro. Lucas di Grassi replaces the retired Allan McNish as the team’s third driver. The #14 Porsche 919 Hybrid qualified third (1:43.087), with Romain Dumas and Neel Jani behind the wheel. Marc Leib will complete the car’s race-day lineup.
Olivier Pla and Roman Rusinov (#26 G-Drive Racing Morgan-Nissan) topped LMP2 at 1:48.916. Tsugio Matsuda and Richard Bradley drove the #47 KCMG Oreca 03 Nissan to P2 in class, 0.18-sec.
Gianmaria Bruni and Tony Vilander drove the #51 AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia to the top of GTE Pro with a time of 1:59.125, more than 0.25 sec ahead of the #91 Porsche Team Manthey 911 RSR. AF Corse Ferrari also topped GTE Am, Sam Bird and Michele Rugolo posting a time of 1:59.932 in the #81 Italia. The #98 Aston Martin Racing Vantage V8 ran a second back for P2 at 2:00.923 for P2.
