This has been a long week kids.
Real life commitments have stretched yours truly to the frayed edges, but I have made it through to the other side.
This week's silver lining?
Our merry band of Geeks has once again secured press credentials for Comic-Con International in San Diego. That's right, we'll be at ground zero at the biggest Geek event of the year. We'll have all of our devices charged and pointed at people to bring you everything we can.
Until then, it seems I have some Geek penance to do.
While doing my research this week it appeared the logical place to go for cheesecake was Oculus. I was certain I'd already featured Karen Gillan as a result of my newly achieved Whovian status, so I skipped over her.
But something kept scratching at the back of my brain.
I searched the site and the "best folder on my hard drive" and couldn't find any evidence of Ms. Gillan's usage.
Billie Piper? Check.
Jenna Louise Coleman? Roger.
Somehow in the binging, I'd missed Amy Pond completely.
Consider the situation resolved kids.
Ms. Gillan stars in this week's "mirrors are evil" horror flick, Oculus.
She'll also be featured in the next big Marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy. She'll be playing space pirate Nebula. For that role Ms. Gillan completely shaved off her signature ginger locks.
Whew, what a load off.
