Friday LinkFrogging - 2/28/14

Oh, True Detective, even on your weakest night you are full of surprises.

If you're not watching HBO's epic True Detective, you should probably scroll down.

Okay, now that they're gone, how cool is this show?

What first looked like a straight police procedural has morphed into an epic meditation on middle aged crazy with healthy doses of Lovecraftian creepy.

With repeated references to Chambers' "The King in Yellow" and Lovecraft mythos, there is just about no telling where this is going to end up.

All we can be sure of is the next two weeks are going to be weird, awesome and, in all likelihood, bloody.

After presenting us with a grownup look at Alexandra Daddario in week two, last week's episode brought us this week's cheesecake.

Please say hello to Lili Simmons.

Ms. Simmons appeared on the sixth episode of True Detective in several scenes with star (and Executive Producer) Woody Harrelson.  Spend a few minutes on Google to find out what special favor her character asked of Woody's Hart.

In addition to her work on True Detective, Ms. Simmons is currently appearing on Banshee.  She's also appeared in Geek Charming, Vegas and Hawaii Five-O.

Let's hit the links.
