Friday LinkFrogging - 9/27/13
There are a few things going on this week.

In case you missed it, Breaking Bad ends its epic run on AMC this Sunday.  Considered by many, myself included, to be the best television program ever, Breaking Bad left us all wondering exactly what is going to happen to Walt and company this weekend.  What we know is there's an M-60 and a vial of ricin yet to be deployed.  Beyond that?  Who the hell knows.

There is some talk that the entire US government will shut down next week if our elected "representatives" can't come to some sort of working agreement, but that remains to be seen.

What is concrete is that ABC has a bona fide hit on its hands with Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.  The show pulled 12.1 million viewers and bested warhorses The Voice and NCIS in the ratings.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (how long do I have to type it like that) was a lot of fun for long time Marvelites and newcomers alike.  Picking up after Iron Man 3, AoS (that long) gives us a behind the scenes look at the agency that has been running things behind the scenes since Iron Man.

Of course, AoS returns Agent Coulson to the land of the living.  It also returns this week's cheesecake to the spotlight.

Please say hello to Ming-Na Wen.

In addition to her role as reluctant field agent Melinda May, Ms. Wen has been a Disney Princess (Mulan), a doctor (ER), a judge (Two and a Half Men), a senator (Eureka) and a street fighter (Street Fighter).

She's also done voiceover work on things such as The Batman, Adventure Time, Spawn, Kingdom Hearts II and Robot Chicken.

There is still a lot of unexplored territory in the Marvel Movie Universe.  Here's hoping Ms. Wen drives "the bus" into all of them.

Let's hit the links.

What if Bruce Timm designed DC's New 52.

Speaking of DC, a Batman-less Gotham is coming soon to Fox.
