This Sunday is the annual Emmy Awards broadcast.
Its an interesting year for the Emmys. They are supposed to honor outstanding work in television, but one of this year's frontrunners is House of Cards
, a show that was only available on Netflix.
Last I checked Netflix was not a television network, but rather a streaming and/or delivery services.
Strange days indeed kids.
Sure, Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are the stars of House of Cards
, but are the Emmys so desperate to pull former Oscar nominees that they'll get into bed with a service designed to drive them out of business?
I guess so.
Despite the continued existence of the Kardashians, Honey Boo Boo and American Whores, I mean Teen Moms, this is a good time to own a television. There is no shortage of quality programming if you're willing to sift through the muck.
