Life has remained nice and busy in Venomous Maximus land (aka Houston). The band signed with Napalm Records last month, as rave reviews for their debut full-length ‘Beg Upon The Light’ continued to roll in, and is currently putting together plans for a summer tour. A June 18 stop in Little Rock is already confirmed as is a date at Reggie’s in Chicago June 22 with Valient Thorr, Gypsyhawk, and Ramming Speed.

Former NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Kurt Busch and ex-Australian V8 Supercar Champion James Courtney swapped cars at the Circuit of The Americas. The circuit will host the Austin 400 stop of the V8 Supercar Championship May 17-19, when the series visits US soil for the first time.

Abrahma’s ‘Through The Dusty Paths of Our Lives’ debut was The Jibbies & Loond Show’s Album of the Year of 2012; a heady blend of ‘70s prog-tinged classic rock and modern stoner. Jason Bright (Holden) took the Jason Richards Memorial Trophy as best overall driver of the weekend home to Brad Jones Racing after winning the fourth and final race of V8 Supercars ITM 400 Auckland.
