Jibbies & Loond: Video Special - Dark Century
Jibbies recently caught Montreal's Dark Century on tour in Calgary. The band describes itself as death metal, but J caught more than a dash of old-school thrash in the blend as well. Regardless of category, one thing was clear: this band has the goods to already be far larger than is the case.

When Jibbies caught up with vocalist Leather King after the show he explained Dark Century's  stellar performance thusly, "We all suck at our day jobs. This is what we love." The band released its debut album, 'Days of the Mosh,' in 2009 and have a new release planned for 2013. With any luck at all some US dates, not to mention intercontinental glory, will follow.
