Friday LinkFrogging - 1/20/12
A peak behind the curtain.

Every week when I put this together, I've got my iPod, on shuffle, playing through the speakers on my desk.  I hardly ever take it off of shuffle.  I just like the demented personal jukebox aspect of that feature.

Today, as I was hitting my stride, the iPod unexpectedly served up Teddy Pendergrass' "Turn Off The Light."

That song is pure sex kids.

Seriously.

And, while we peddle PG-13 rated sex to get you to take a look at the stuff we found on the internet each week, there is nothing we've ever done that comes close to that 6 or so minutes.

Yes, we celebrate the female form week in and week out, but sweet Manny on a moped, we can only hope to achieve Pendergrass.

Where am I going with all this?  Truth be told I have no idea.  I think Charlie Sheen took over my mind by some sort of warlock telepathy for a few minutes.

Today, we celebrate the female form in a slightly different way than we usually do.

Please say hello to Gina Carano.

Ms. Carano has been referred to as the "face of women's MMA."  Well, as it turns out we love women and we love MMA here at the 'Geek.  That makes her a perfect choice for our weekly honors.

An accomplished MMA fighter, Ms. Carano holds a career record of 7-1, with her lone loss at the hands of Cyborg Santos shrouded in controversy.

She was also "Crush" on the revamped American Gladiators.

Today Ms. Carano expands her media profile as the lead in the highly anticipated Steven Soderbergh movie, Haywire.  The early reviews are excellent which bodes well for Ms. Carano's future in movies.

What can I say, deep down, most guys like to see an attractive woman kick some ass.

Perhaps I've said too much.
