'Tis the season kids.

Of course, if you believe the retail industry 'tas been the season since before Halloween.

With only a couple of days to go until Christmas and miles to go before I sleep again, I'm going to make this one short.

I want to thank each and every one of you who take the time out of your lives to read the stuff we do here.  We appreciate your support.

Who?

I know you probably don't recognize her from the banner picture, but she is the actress who scored the coveted role of Lisbeth Salander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo which opens to much fanfare today.

I've got to be honest.  I read the book and wasn't moved like the rest of the world apparently was.  It was like Scandanavian John Grisham to me.

Ms. Mara comes from NFL royalty.  She is the great-granddaughter of both Pittsburgh Steelers founder Art Rooney, Sr. and New York Giants founder Tim Mara.  I bet they throw some hellacious Super Bowl parties in her family.

As an actress, she has appeared in  the Nightmare on Elm Street remake as well as The Social Network and Youth in Revolt.

That's right, she has already hit the Michael Cera/Jesse Eisenberg double play.

If The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo does as well as projected, Ms. Mara is sure to be a fixture in our lives for years to come.  Get on board early.
