Friday LinkFrogging - 12/16/11
Change of venue today kids.

I'm sitting in a mediator's office trying to resolve issues about my day job.  Luckily for all of us the mediator has been kind enough to allow me to use her Wi-Fi so the links will proceed as regularly scheduled.

Being married to a lawyer, these environments don't intimidate me as they do some other folks, but I can think of places I'd rather be.

Still, its nice to get out of the offices sometimes, even if its to step into an adversarial proceeding.

We've got a couple of weeks left in 2011.  We'll have links next week and then the following week we'll roll out our annual list of top 10 posts and name our cheesecake of the year.  The big question there is can perpetual favorite Nadine Velazquez retain her crown.

We will see.

In the meantime, let's see this week's cheesecake.  Say hello to Rachel McAdams.

Ms. McAdams returns today in her role as Irene Adler in Sherlock Holmes:  A Game of Shadows.  In a movie franchise that features Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law, Ms. McAdams has been able hold her own.  She's fiesty that way.

Despite starting her career as Rob Schneider's body swap partner in The Hot Chick, Ms. McAdams managed to right her career.  She was the star of the chick flick favorite, The Notebook.  She was the lead Mean Girl in the movie of the same name.  She became a geek favorite as Owen Wilson's love interest in the neo-classic comedy, The Wedding Crashers.

She reteamed with Wilson earlier this year in Woody Allen's well received Midnight in Paris.

Now, back on the big screen for another go-around in the Guy Ritchie Holmes-verse, she's set to have a big box office weekend.

Good for her.

Good for us.

On to the links.
