Friday LinkFrogging - 12/9/11

We've been doing this feature for a couple of years now.

It has proven to be pretty popular as these things go.

So, each week, I dutifully search the internet for the pictures we use to anchor the links.  I enjoy the process.  Please don't think I'm complaining.  I most certainly am not.

But, as Chris will attest, you have to be careful when looking for the cheesecake.  You don't want to go too far down the road or you run into some shady sites and with them all manner of viruses and other nasty bugs.

What's the point of all this you may ask?

Well hang tight and I'll tell you.

I've picked up a few tricks along the way.  Google and Bing like to suggest other similar searches.  These almost always include "person's name hot" and "person's name feet."

Now, I get the hot sugggestion.  It has actually worked a few times.

But feet?

Are there really that many folks out their with foot fetishes that that's the second suggestion week in and week out?

Am I excluding a significant demographic by focusing on other anatomical extremities?

If I start adding foot pictures will Quentin Tarantino start checking out our site.  Well, in that case, only if they are Uma Thurman foot pictures and I'm sure he's got several personal albums of those.

Again, not complaining.  Everyone to their own kink.  Let your freak flag fly.

Just wondering aloud, because as I was looking for cheesecake this week, I saw a lot of foot pictures.

And those toes belonged to none other than Michelle Pfeiffer.

Depending on your age and/or gender, Ms. Pfeiffer likely worked her way into your consciousness as either Al Pacino's moll in Scarface OR as the cool rider wanting Stephanie in Grease 2.

Please note how I avoided adding Electric Boogaloo there.

Damn...so close.

Since then she has become one of Hollywood's top leading ladies, appearing in such movies as The Witches of Eastwick, Dangerous Minds, Married to the Mob, Dangerous Liaisons and her Academy Award nominated turn in The Fabulous Baker Boys.

And, since we were speaking of fetishes earlier, we can't leave out her leather-clad, whip-toting Catwoman in Batman Returns can we?

This week, Ms. Pfeiffer appears in the New Year's Eve opposite a cast of thousands. Early reviews aren't good, but hopefully she will rebound with next year's Dark Shadows movie where she will appear opposite Johnny Depp.

I'm pretty sure he won't be sparkly.  Drunk perhaps, but never sparkly

On to the links.
