Sometimes the stars align. Things are just easy. You pick up the weekly web fun for the boss and the lady of choice falls into your lap. This is that week.
I could do this all in one sentence. Nothing else I say will matter as much in the pop-culture universe.
BEHOLD!! the grand-daughter of Elvis Aaron Presley, Riley Keough.
That’s right, the King is still getting it done two generations later.
Much as I’d like that to be the end, two factors compel me to add at least a few more lines: 1) this feature has a format and 2) it’s the 21st century.
Ms. Keough appears this weekend on big screens everywhere in Trey Edward Shults forest horror (evidently an actual subgenre) film, ‘It Comes At Night’. But this is hardly her debut. She made that back in 2010 portraying Marie Currie in ‘The Runaways’ music biopic. Other notable turns include Krystal in ‘American Honey’ and Capable in ‘Mad Max: Fury Road.’
Then there’s her other job (pictured above), Victoria’s Secret model.
Hey, I said this was the 21st century, not that we’re dead!
(P.S. – Tell me you don’t see a little Elvis in that smile.)
