Friday LinkFrogging - 2/3/17
Welcome to Friday kids.

What happened this week?

There was a groundhog.

There was a massacre that never happened.

There's some kind of sporting event.

And, of course, Arrow dove deeper still into the backstory of Oliver Queen.

If you've watched Arrow for any length of time, you know that the story is peppered with flashbacks explaining how Oliver Queen went from being a philandering douchebag playbody to a brooding hooded archer.  It has gone a long way to resolving one of my initial complaints about the show.

This extended origin story has involved the appearance, in one iteration or another, of many classic DC characters.  This week we added Talia al Ghul to that list.  I honestly never expected to see Talia after they spent so much time with her lesser known sister, Nyssa, a couple of seasons ago.

That being said, it looks like Talia is going to be an important cog in finally having douchebag Oliver coming to grips with his darker impulses and setting him on the road to being the Hood.

Either that or giving birth to the Arrowverse's Damian.

We'll see.

Anyway, Talia is played by this week's cheesecake.  Please say hello to Lexas Doig.

Ms. Doig has been bumping around genre television for twenty years.  In that time she's worked with Flash Gordon, Jason (X), a Stargate, Kevin Sorbo, the V's and Chris Isaak to name a few.

Odds are you've seen her before whether you knew it or not.

I'm curious to see how exactly how badass her Talia turns out to be.

Here's hoping for maximum badassery.  We could use some of that right now.

Let's hit the links.
