Welcome back television!
Oh how I've missed you.
This week marks the beginning of the 2015 television season.
New shows will fail to live up to their hype.
Old shows will fade away.
People will get voted off.
There will be Khardasians.
And we will watch.
Oh, how we'll watch.
One of the first shows out of the blocks was Fox's Scream Queens. Its being hyped as American Horror Story meets Glee.
I'm not sure how that pitch sold, but it did.
The show had a huge presence at SDCC this year. They had ice cream carts in the Gaslamp. All you had to do was scream for your ice cream.
See what they did there?
The lead character is played by this week's cheesecake.
Please say hello to Emma Roberts.
Ms. Roberts stars as Chanel Oberlin on Scream Queens. According to IMDB, she's also going to be appearing on the upcoming season of American Horror Story.
Ms. Roberts has also appeared in We're the Millers, Scream 4, Hotel for Dogs and Nancy Drew.
She's also the daughter of Eric Roberts. That makes her the niece of America's favorite Pretty Woman, Julia Roberts.
It will be interesting to see how long she lasts this season. Will she be final girl? Time will tell.
