The Jibbies & Loond Show: Episode 063 - Faith No More returns!

In this episode we herald the return of Faith No More, talk about new music from Orange Goblin, Red Fang, and Cavalera Conspiracy, and begin hyping the Fallcore 2014 extravaganza later this year in HTX. Loond clues us in on shows he’s been checking out, including Queensryche’s tour, then he and Jibbies descend into bemoaning Houston’s continued evident B-rating as a place for tours to stop and ridiculing both Slipknot’s new-mask policy and Geoff Tate’s feverishly humping away at destroying whatever remaining cred he has.

FIA WEC: 6 Hours of COTA – Fernando Rees interview

Rees has competed since 2010 with Larbre Competition in GTE Am, making the jump this year to the factory Aston Martin pro team. The 29-year old Brazilian ran well during practice but was a little off the pace in qualifying.   “The changeable weather created sort of a gambling situation at the start of the session. And we decided not to gamble in our car and to just follow our plan. Some people that gambled had a better result. But you never know. But fifth does not reflect out true ...

FIA WEC: 6 Hours of COTA – Anthony Davidson interview

Anthony Davidson is a key component of Toyota Racing’s efforts to unseat Audi from the endurance racing throne, having started with the mark’s last true challengers, Peugeot, in 2010. Toyota has a 1-point lead coming into this weekend, winning the first two 6-hr races of the year at Silverstone and Spa.   Circuit of the Americas “It’s world class. It challenges the drivers. It’s fan friendly. It’s got great facilities. It’s the proper FIA-standar...

USCC: Circuit of the Americas – Pruett, Rojas take win with 2-stop strategy

Alex Brundle put the #42 OAK Racing Ligier JS P2-Honda on the pole in its USCC debut, beating out Jordan Taylor in the #10 Wayne Taylor Racing Corvette DP by 0.834 sec. The pole is a great start for the chassis, the Nissan powered variant of which also took the top spot in its FIA World Endurance Championship debut yesterday, piloted by Roman Rusinov and Olivier Pla. And though power is as necessary at COTA as any circuit, the track has also put a premium on maneuverability, both Mazda MX-5s an...
